Josephine and Glenn
Josephine and Glenn’s fun 25 Fitzwilliam Place wedding in Dublin was everything you’d hope for from an Irish wedding. It packed personality, delicious food and lots of partying.
I was deeply honoured when Josephine got in touch way back in 2024 to enquire as to whether I would be interested in popping over the water to Dublin to shoot their wedding. Josephine had found out about me through one of her previous bosses (A referral is always a huge compliment) and after checking out my work they decided I was the right person to document their day. They mostly wanted candids of everyone having a great time….which as you’ll know is right up my street. I absolutely love candid photography.
They told me their wedding would be relaxed with a touch of geekery thrown in….and it was perfect. These two met at college and became firm friends firstly. They were both very much in to Pokemon and they bonded of many interests. After a while it became very clear that they were right for each other….and boy are they!
They still love Pokemon but their biggest love is their gorgeous cats, who although are a little shy around strangers were good enough to pose for some pics….thanks guys!
For their wedding their chose the gorgeous townhouse venue of 25 Fitzwilliam Place. I couldn’t think of a better place to gather the people you love. I knew they were pro’s at this wedding thing when, on arrival, I was greeted by the main man Stephen who gave me a tour and a full run down of everything. The staff were so slick and on it and everything ran perfectly. This venue is undoubtedly world class!
The ceremony, conducted by celebrant Jim, was the perfect appreciation of everything they are as people and as a couple. They included some beautiful readings and lit a unity candle. Jim delivered it perfectly and injected a good dose of humour in to the proceedings, making it fun for everyone.
I have to say, Dublin has stolen my heart a little. I loved my time there….wandering the streets…taking in the atmosphere and music. I am already planning another visit.
