Sylvia and Anthony
Sylvia and Anthony were always going to have an alternative wedding. They are in no way traditionalists and they wanted to include their personalities in their day.
They wanted to show case Blackpool in all it’s glory and include small businesses where they could. This meant they spent a lot of time searching for exactly what they wanted.
They even had their rings custom made out of guitar strings. Ben Crowe from Crimson Guitars took it on as a special interest custom make. Sylvia and Anthony had NO idea when they approached Ben that he would even be remotely interested so could you imagine their faces when the planets aligned and it was exactly the project Ben was looking for. You can see a video of Ben making the rings here……I would definitely advise giving it a watch….it’s a brilliant story.
They chose to get married overlooking the Blackpool Tower at the Wedding Chapel followed my a very wet stroll to Show Town for some much needed refreshments and entertainment. If you’ve not been to Show Town it is an amazing place. There are actors who play their parts to perfection and you can learn all about the shows and pursuits that has made Blackpool a big draw for all these years. The whole team were amazing especially given this was their first wedding!
We finished up the day at the incredible Russ Brown’s House of Secrets. What a treat. Not one but two magic shows from the superb and hilarious Russ. These guys were really spoiling their guests!! Oh and let’s not forget the gorgeous and really thoughtful goody bags that Sylvia and her friends made for every guest.
When choosing these venues Sylvia and Anthony had to bear in mind accessibility as Sylvia’s son is in a wheelchair and every single one of these venues is fully accessible. How amazing is that!
What I loved about this day was that it was all about having a good time with people who meant the most to them. It was fun and relaxed and not even the weather could phase these guys. Sylvia and Anthony clearly adore each other and are definitely just perfect for each other.
