Chloe and Grant

Chloe and Grants autumnal Royle Forest wedding was a riot, from start to finish.  Having been together for a while they wanted to make sure that the focus was on everyone having a really great time and they absolutely smashed it!  These guys just match each other perfectly and I can see why they have so many people around them that just love them to bits.  They are infectiously fun to hang out with and are big adventurers. They are definitely very present in the moment and I love that!

I first met them at Grant’s cousin’s wedding (Which was also a LOT of fun…..this family know how to party!) and he liked the cut of my jib enough to get in touch when they started firming up their plans for their big day. What a huge compliment!!

I don’t think Chloe will mind me saying but she was kinda dreading the couple shots, she was concerned about posing.  Well I am sure you’ll agree they both absolutely smashed it and looked amazing.  We split their couples shots up across the day to make the most of the shifting light.  It was a bit overcast so sadly no sunset but we went maverick with a little bit of Blair Witch style woodland adventuring!  I love that they both just totally trusted my vision and rolled with it.  Sometimes it’s hard to envision where I am going with a shot so it’s great when my couples just trust me.

I have to give a massive shout out to the entire team at Royle Forest.  They went above and beyond to make this day perfect.  Nothing was too much effort and it’s a cracking venue.  I hope I get to visit again….I had a great time with them.

Oh and can we just take a minute to appreciate the amazing flowers!! Chloe is a florist (Well not professionally now….although I feel she should bring it back as a side hustle) and with her Bridesman and friend Joe she absolutely smashed it out of the park.  I mean just LOOK at her bouquet! I can also tell you that those roses smelt absolutely divine!! She did tell me what they were called but I’ve totally forgotten, silly Sassy ADHD brain!

When the venue tells you that one of the locations you’ve used for photos has never been used before then that’s a big compliment.  That’s how I deliver alternative wedding photography my way.  Always searching for the hidden gems and undervalued spots at every location I visit.  To find out about me covering your wedding in a fun, creative and relaxed way please do get in touch.
